Medium range: Height: over 17 inches but under 21, typically weigh between 36 lbs to 50 lbs

Will my puppy shed?
Dogs are mammals and all mammals shed, no matter what breed. They may just have shedding while brushing, and hair clumps through out the house if brushing is not kept up on like poodles. Some doodles can shed more than your average doodle but less than a golden retriever. Depending on the coat, season, or luck some doodles can even shed just like a retriever. However, all mammals are different and can vary in how much fur they lose. We can not guarantee what your puppy's coat will do when they grow up.
Why are some puppies not as fluffy as others?
Lucy has F/IC & Nash has F/IC as well, which means there is a 25% chance we will have IC/IC puppies again. Health testing can be very confusing for anyone. We wanted to explain it in the best way possible here, to hopefully make it easier when we explain puppies to families on pick day!!
The IC/IC gene causes the greatest variation in the look of a goldendoodle. The term "Furnishings" aka F refers to the longer hair on the face and legs of a goldendoodle. This is a dominate gene so you only need one of them for furnishing to appear.
Dogs with IC/IC are a lot easier to groom and brush but can have more shedding than dogs without IC/IC. IC/IC pups have the genetic diversity and sometimes lower shedding than a Golden Retriever. If you have a family with allergies, a Goldendoodle with IC/IC is not the best match for you, however one with F/IC or F/F might be; which would be the other 75% of our litters.
When you breed two different types of purebred dogs together you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. However, if you’re looking for specific physical characteristics. We highly recommend you research, ask questions, and take your time making any decisions. As always we are always here for any questions!
Can you ship our puppy to us?
We don't ship puppies but we do delivery. We have delivered to northern Ohio as well as New York. If you are interested in shipping, please email us your address so we can factor cost to give you a personally catered price.
Male or female?
Some people have a preferences on sex, we however recommend that you come and meet the puppies and just fall in love with their personalities. Not being set on a specific sex for a puppy lets you have a lot more options on what personality you can get.
When can my puppy come home?
Your puppy can go home with you when they are eight weeks old. In the state of Indiana it is illegal for a puppy to go home any sooner than 8 weeks.
What will my puppy come home with?
Each puppy will go to their new forever home with a new puppy bag. This bag includes nylabone to help with teething, a toy with their littermate scent to help with the transition, a bag of food, and a bag of pine that we use to start the puppies on potty-training. You will also receive a copy of the contract, a birth certificate, your micro chipping information, all of their veterinary records, and a do's and don'ts list for simple puppy training. If you have crate-training done here, your puppy will also come home with their crate. If you have leash training done here, they will receive a high-quality leash and collar that comes with a lifetime warranty.
What veterinary work will my puppy have?
Your puppy will be vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, treated for intestinal parasites, and come home micro chipped.
How big will my puppy get?
Generally speaking, if you take the average weight of the parents, that's about the size of the adult dog. Our puppies tend to be between 45 to 65 pounds on average. However, we have had a few outliers get bigger than that.
What food do you feed them?
We feed them Victor. We have had very good results feeding this food to our dogs. Some people have successfully switched their puppy to a different food. Our vet does not recommend a grain free diet as it leads to great health problems than a non grain free diet.
